Loads of stuff, I deal with 6 firms that will not have stuff made outside of the EU, and most of their lines are produced in the UK, Italy or Spain. The craftsmanship is superb and you really can tell the difference, downside is the price.

On a more serious note, that is shocking! I can probably understand why if everything is made by hand... but who would pay it? after all, it goes up on the ceiling and you forget about it! The light that is, not a Portamig

Whole thing is hand made, the glass is Italian Borosilicate. Photo doesn't really do it justice. It's amazing how much of the high end stuff shifts.
Last week one of these went with a turning rig so it keeps moving

advice please auto darkening can i buy a solar battery

i have a nederman auto darkening headshield 9-13 original and the magic bit has packed up. Is there any way i can fix it IE perhaps fit a new solar battery. i have 2 of the magic bits and they both went down within a year of each other. I am using the part off a jackson in mine in work as it fits but would like to know can i fix them or sling them.
If anyone is thinking of buying an auto darkening lid i would sugest one that you can change the batterys in like the Jackson i am using as it should last forever as long as you change the batteries when flat.

Hmm the buggers do go wrong Im on no.4, 2 speedglass and 2 optrel, I get about 3 years out of each before it dies,
