Best recip blades

Hello
I need to cut machine hold down studs
These need to be cut to move the machine, from memory m20
Can anyone recommend a sabre saw / demo / recip or whatever name they call them now blade that will tolerate HT allthread/studding
I’m not too keen on a 9” with the fire risk

We use the hilti white ones at work, For cutting steel bolts you want the orbit down to 0 for hand comfort and the speed to 2/3 (no 4 of 6 on the speed dial) or less or you'll burn up the blades.

Why can't you un-do the bolts?

Lennox or Morse are usually pretty good, but I've never used them for that.
Can you get a portaband in there?

Milwaukee Torch Carbide 7tpi available in both 6 and 9 inch. Cost a bit more but last much longer. I’ve used them for cutting out suspension bolts on the Shogun which are renowned for been tough as well seizing solid in the bushes.

I asked the same question as @pressbrake1 here and was recommended these blades, remortgaged the house and bought pack of them. Still on the first one after it has cut a good few suspension bolts. They'll do the job no problem.

I think any pack of 5 blades from Screwfix will see the job jone no problem, regardless of make. I cut rsjs and angle iron etc fairly regularly and just get whichever is on offer. That torch one looks interesting. Says lasts 50 times longer than standard blade, has anyone got any experience with this?

Are cupped angry grinder metal cutting discs any good?

Are you cutting them of flush with the blade bent ? I find the carbide blades are good but they're all thicker then normal and don't like being bent about.

I asked the same question as @pressbrake1 here and was recommended these blades, remortgaged the house and bought pack of them. Still on the first one after it has cut a good few suspension bolts. They'll do the job no problem.

Another vote.

I use these when rams says no hot works.

Took 300mm out the middle of a lorry chassis with them (don’t ask) and didn’t use a pack doing that.

Also, what Pete said, go easy on the speed.
