Best parts washer fluid?

Evening,

just upgraded to a 45l parts washer and wondering how to avoid taking a second mortgage to fill it

So, been using parafin in the small one, just wondered what people use as a cleaning fluid in their washers that fits the "cheap and effective" bill

I'm using BH's Surfex HD in my little one, seems to do almost as good a job as solvents on the grease and oil and a better job on general grime and dirt.

been discussed before i think..anyway i filled mine with white spirit and its done some graft and still the same stuff

I've said this before somewhere, but I use domestic heating oil, about 65p per litre, most suppliers will sell it from the pump. Like a cross between diesel and paraffin.
