best fence ideas?

Well after numerous times having to 'fix' my normal timber panel fence facing the alley behind my house because a bunch of *insert appropriate word' kids think its fun to break it down means i need something more substantial.

I don't care how good it looks as its behind my gym building and can only see it from the alley so can be a complete eyesore.
Best vandal proof idea? I cant do blocks, something steel?

fit thick steel plate directly behind wood fence, even bolting them together maybe with a bit of luck they'll break their toes when they try to kick it in

Hi, concrete fence posts and panels. Not much dearer than wooden counterparts.

Its currently concrete posts with panels in between, and 3 out the the 4 posts have cracked from being hit too ..
I was thinking steel would be better but not a clue on how to actually build it.

Or are the posts stronger with the concrete panels in? Because as much as i hate them id rather not have one of them die kicking it down onto themselves

Hi, concrete fence posts and panels. Not much dearer than wooden counterparts.

Not sure concrete panels would stop the little scrotes, I can remember some of the idiots I used to know when I was younger liked to try and crack the concrete panels for fun.

There is a clip, I think it was on the telly program RudeTube where some plonker was "showing off" by kicking a concrete panel which cracked in two and fell out so the next panel slid down trapping his leg... I don't know if it broke his leg ... we can only hope.

Steel palisade fencing isn't VERY expensive - about 40-50 a panel 2mx1.8m high, last time I checked.
Worked out cheaper than I could build it using new steel, certainly.

Hmm that sounds a good idea, I could just leave it as it is now (fixed as much as I can) and put the steel fencing in front of it,
Will have to check the space available in front, don't think there's much.

I need to terrace some of my garden and have been debating what to use for ages then discovered how cheap used Armco railings can be bought. Not pretty and for my use can be then clad in decorative timber (decking ?) but down an alley I'd leave "as is" plus not very good for graffiti either.

I've filled in the posts with concrete panels, going to use the steel fencing in front and should be ok
