Best 250A MiG under £1000?

Hi all! Ive been using this forum for information for ages, really good site and information, as such im looking to buy my final mig and would greatly apprecieat your input from experience.

Im looking for a 250Amp unit, single phase (32A supply) for motorsport fab work, roll cages and the odd bit of agricultural repair... odd mix i know :P

I have used big Murex, mid level Sealey and Stubbs to date. I still like Murex the most, but are they still as good as i remember? (12+ years ago)

my budget is sub £1000, i like quality and reliabilty and would like this to my MiG forever more lol.

try Steve at weldequip, button at top of page. He sells Portamig, and there's a lot of us that rave about them. I got a 285A, cost under a grand. Good solid and reliable machine with good repair service, parts supply guaranteed for many years (not that you'll need much!). Highly recommended
