Hi There,
I have just collected one of these from a seller on eBay, the unit is clean and I was told he had only used it once to mainly use up the bits that came with it, he did not need it anymore. It came with a 2 pin European plug so I have removed this to put a 32amp Blue industrial plug on. The problem I have is that the wires are coloured as:
Green and Yellow, I assume this is Earth
Brown which I would expect to be LIVE
White or Grey so is this the Neutral?
The connections I am faced with on the blue plug are as follows:
Looking at the plug connections the big round connection is the EARTH.
Where the wire goes in from the back one is marked as L+ so I put the Brown in here, one is marked as the earth so the Green and Yellow are in there, leaving one left over for what I assume is the Grey or White cable.
Because I have not tried this yet I just wanted to confirm if this was correct or whether I may blow my setup up when its plugged in.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram in english or an idea of which colours relate to what?
