bending rd tube

got a little project that i need to put slight bend in some 12mmx1.6mm rd.
tried doing it with my parts bender but just flattens.

getting lathe next week would making a die with cutout for tube and matching pce for bending arm work?

will be while before i do it as gotto learn how to use lathe first, but its one of those projects that keeps getting put back on shelf for weeks at time, then comes out when nothing else to do.

Try bending a sample of that size tube round an old vee belt pully off an engine if you have one, that often works.

Drill a 12mm hole in a piece of 3x2 and clamp it in the vice. Put your round through the hole and just press it down and pull it through a little at a time and you can do a gradual bend.
