I wouldn't. Best bet is an old secondhand Record No. 4. The older the better.
New unbranded is probably going to be made from hard cheese.

I didn't see that link before. Looks sort of ok I guess, especially if it really is forged steel. I remain dubious.

It appears quite similar to the Heuers, in design, which seem to be highly rated by those who have them.

Yeah I had a quick look around and it does claim to be forged steel. I just can't quite see how that could be a forged item. There are a lot of very similar items with subtle differences like one piece, built in jaws. Does look like a good price for forged steel.

I'm sceptical about marketing nowadays. One has to read and interpret descriptions very carefully, as "forged steel" perhaps only refers to the detachable jaws or parts other than the main body of the vice ?

I'm pretty sure that's not cast iron because of the weld seams in the strategical points.
But TBH I'm looking at this one because of the replaceable jaws and the forged steel construction.
I can by a branded decent vice similar in construction but with fixed jaws for about 10 to 20% more which would not be a problem , but can't understand why the jaws can't be replaced on those ones

Well if the entire body is a cast steel, it can be heat treated to an acceptable hardness for the jaws to be cast in situ.
