Again interesting. I have a round table in our spare bedroom which I use for T shirt printing etc. I could make that easily . I am now wondering on cost V return. How useful it would actually be....................what a the wooden chocks being screwed to the top of the revolving part for/?

If you're not going to be hammering on it, "lazy susan" turntables are not expensive -
if you have a router, core box bit and a trammel, you could cut opposing circular grooves in two pieces of 18mm ply, and put marbles/ball bearings in it to make a lazy susan the size you want.

The chocks are feet. The base is the right way up, and the castors are allowing the top to rotate on the pin which locates in the block under the other part.

they are the feet it sits on the ground as in the picture and the top slips on and rotates on the castors...

I nearly killed myself once with a benchgrinder on a wall mount.
It vibrated the rawbolts out of the wall and fell off while I was using it! Grinder did hit my foot running! (no injury just S##t myself)
I have bought cast stands from axminster tools for all of our grinders, bolted to the floor!
