Belle Maxi 140 Gearbox Teardown

Hi,


I've been given a belle maxi 140 cement mixer with some parts missing (top cover/bearing housing and pulley) but in a ok state. I'm taking over where the last owner stopped: dismantling the gearbox. Bearing are bad and the shaft may be bent.

I'm here:

I've removed a pin but the tube going out won't move (tried applying heat, rotating it with a pipe key). It seems that it has to come out this way because of the following bearing inside:

I know it can be done because of that post.

Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Couldn't find anything from google expect from the above mentionned post.

they were not that expensive for a new gearbox...
changed quite a few....

you need to do more clean up as you will have a bearing pin to hold onto the outside of the bearing

the front end of the screw thread will be a push fit whilst the rear of the screw will be a side grip

that pin you have taken out apears to hold the side pipe into the gearbox not the bearing pin

give it a good soak in paraffin or diesel, then clean up and have a better look
