Hello!
I'm new to welding and have been given a Wolf 195 MIG welder. Before I plug it in I just wanted to check a few things......
The welder comes with a round 16a type plug - is it OK to plug it in via an adaptor to a standard 13a household style plug?
The instructions say this welder uses DC current. As the household supply is AC, does the welder convert the current itself? Can I plug it straight in or do I need some sort of convertor?
Lastly, is this type of welder OK to plug into any house hold plug point - it won't cause a total melt down of the house wiring because it's too powerful or anything daft like that!?
Thank you for your help
