I hope this is in the right part of the forum, feel free to move it if it's not.
I'm going to be blasting some bike parts soon and don't know what the best media is for the various different metals.
I'm going to clean up a pair of alloy brake calipers first, they are in good condition I just need to take the anodizing off really.
Next will be steel swinging arms and brackets etc, then the engine itself.
I've got a cheap eBay type pressure pot and a 3hp compressor, the pot already has some kind of grit in it that's quite course.
I was thinkin of getting a new handheld blast gun for the relatively small parts I need to clean so what's the best way forward?.
Also where can I buy blast media from in Hertfordshire / north London?
Machine Mart seem expensive!
Ta.
