just be carefull when using adaptors as they mostly dont have any battery protection parts so if you run the battery to low or use for to long and over heat the battery

im sure most on here would if using them selves it would be ok

This is why so many knock-offs and projects use Makita batteries, they have protection in the battery itself unlike most competitors (although more are adopting this). If the battery detects undervoltage or high temperature then it will shutdown until charged or cooled respectively.
