bath repair help Please

I dropped a tile (330mm x 250mm) into my 1 month old fiberglass bath, the corner of the tile has left a gouge/small hole through which water leaks.

I've searched on the web and see there are kits available which seem more aimed at scratches/cracks.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with a bath repair?
maybe something on the lines of chemical metal or a waterproof glue that would do it.
or should I treat it as a fiberglass repair?

i did simular. 15mm tube right thru.
there is a guy local,make a living repairing baths. cost £80 buy good job and cheaper then a new bath.
ask in tiling shops, plumbers shop might be able to help.

epoxy resin would be my first try with fibre glass tape on the rear

Surely a wee bit of gel coat? Which is probably what you've chipped off...

yep thats the stuff but u will need pigment to colour it google gelcoat repair

I once dropped a shampoo bottle in a fibreglass bath and broke the bath. Our insurance paid out enough to fit a whole new suite. Get a claim in sharp.
