I had my first attempt a laying some paint at the weekend. Overall it went quite well, apart from 2 things:
1. School boy error, I didn't have enough paint to complete the job. A few tiger stripes/mottling where it needs a bit more paint coverage to sort. It's likely to be a few more days before I can get back to this, so what prep do I need to do? Scuff/W&G or just tack and paint? (or some other combination?)
2. Reactions - as per the pictures, there are a couple of reactions, which may have been in the primer coat and I missed it. Being on the underside of the boot lid, I'm not that worried about these. Will I get away with applying a 2K clear over this, or will that react too? If I have to deal with it, what is the best way? I'm assuming sand back the affected areas to below the primer, clean and spot-prime, then apply the base coat again, as above, covering the whole panel.
Any/all advice welcome - Thanks,
