barometer

our barometer packed up for some reason.
can you get one with out all the wood etc.
then one we have is an oak banjo .
so I would like to replace the whole dial thing.
looked on the internet but parts or spares, what we want is the full dial.
any pointers. john

its like a clock mechanism no idea how it work,it just stuck in one spot.
tried mouth blowing it but no joy.

so it has a tube on it with some gears then that would be an aneroid barometer the tube would have had a vaccum in it might have developed a leak
