cumbriasteve Moderator Messages 9,635 Location Cumbria UK Aug 4, 2013 #4 All I use with my Clarke is a jar of cutting fluid, dip a small paintbrush in and wet the cut area, it certainly helps and the blade lasts longer. The blade does not tend to get hot, losing most of any absorbed heat by the time it has done a loop round the large steel drive and idler wheels.
