Hi all
just in the process of rewiring completely my startrite verticals bandsaw all the original parts were failing and still on the original ceramic breakers and had no emergency stops
so far I’ve got to this far. I’ve put a rotary isolator on the front for when I change blades etc. I’ve added an air solenoid to switch on with the motor to clear the blade as the original pump is in a bad state so I’ll use compressed air.
The mcb are for the welder, grinder and lamp.
I just want some clarification on the contactor wiring I’ve found this diagram online. Saw is being kept as 3phase contactor has a 240v coil with no overload
so from this would this be correct?
So neutral line to a1, a link between a2 and 13 and then the on/off, estop and pilot light wired as I’ve shown.
also would like a bit of clarity on the solenoid I’ve added how I’ve wired it on the bottom of the above drawing this is the connections I’ve taken 2 as live, 1 as neutral and last Is earth this all correct seems to differ from others I’ve found.
Thanks all for the help.
