Not that many of you would have noticed mind you, but I have not been around much the last couple of days. My charming two year old daughter decided my half finished cup of coffe would look better poured over the keyboard of my laptop!!! managed to get a couple of posts out on my HTC pda thing but I dont get much of a signal at home. At least it forced me to finish off building the computer upstairs, which is what I am now typing on. Spent 3 hours last night carefully stripping the laptop down to little bits and pieces, NOT RECOMMENDED! Anyway, keyboard is screwed and laptop is 6 years old so I have salvaged some bits to stick on fleabay and kept the hard drive so I can copy everything off it. Moral of the story? Dont leave cups lying about, even if you they think they cant get hold of them.

If its only the keyboard damaged use a USB keyboad plugged in.It worked for me.

Why didn't you put the daughter upon fleabay? Mind they are two a penny and not much use I suppose, a bit like hamsters, amusing humorous for a few minutes at a time but high maintenance.

Half the keys were stuck down, so as soon as I got to the paswword prompt it filled up with letters.

Just finished putting them to bed! Yes I do know what the time is, but mummy is working tonight and they know it, so they have been ripping the P out of me. I am now in need of a large dram before I hit the hay.
