Hi all,
Ive been using B rourkes vinylast in gloss for a year or so and have been happy with it up til now.
I buy a 20 litre tin at a time, but this latest batch seems to have tiny bits of sediment in it.
Theyre invisible to the naked eye at first, but the spray gun has a removeable mesh filter inside the cup and it slowly clogs up with sediment as im spraying.
As soon as ive sprayed a gate it looks fine when wet, but little dots are visible all over the job once the paint has dried
I get it from fh brundles, who bought the stock from rourkes when they went bust, could this be past its sell by date?
does paint have a shelf life?
I really like the vinyl paint because I find it easy to apply by gun, but I can only find it in satin finish by other companies.
Any suggestions/ ideas/ or any input welcome
