Hi looking for a bit of advice
I have just got a Axminster 6x4 bandsaw when I cut 50x50 box it runs of top to bottom by 1.5mm
Anyone got any ideas????

If this is one of the standard horiz/vert saws I have a varient. Had a similar problem which turned out to be the bearings which support the blade at each end of the cut. They are supported by a 'block' whch is adjustable up and down to and fro and I ended up spending ages with a small square getting it to run true, and then adjusting the bearings (on eccentrics) for free play against the blade which also causes it to twist. Now it's set right I'm never going to touch it again! (Also move the balde support arm (the moveable bit) as close to the work as possible)
Very few of them cut straight, mine included. A bi-metal blade helped but it's still off slightly. I got my blades from Dragon Saws, they have an ebay shop. There are lots of sites dedicated to modifying 6x4's, a quick google will come up trumps
