got any experience with this one?
i need it for a car restoration... minimum current its 35 A, is this too high for sheet metal or is it acceptable?

i am very limited concerning choices as i cant find many Mig welders in Cyprus

Welcome to the forum, it's only 5 amps above what many hobby welders have as their lowest settings and many people are repairing cars at 30amps.

So it would be nicer if it was a little lower but with care it will do the job.

I often see members abroad who mention they struggle with the limited range of makes available, it does make me wonder if a major manufacturer is missing a trick... but it's probably down to some big business reason that I am unaware of.

I would have thought that with so many parts for the smaller welders coming from Italy and even complete machines at one time. Has Italys manufacturing/parts makers gone the way of British industry? Got to be easer to ship/import from one part of mainland europe to another? transactions in same currency the E

I have used ecoparcel.eu to ship stuff around. Very reasonable, a 40cm cube at 15kg cost me 20 euro to a greek island from here. Perhaps a relative in UK could help?
