Came across this Type F fuel pump/filter again.
Can't remember if i've asked this before either!
Really need to tidy up properly once and for all, physically and mentally...

Anyone recognise what it's off of?

My suspicion is could possibly be bmc/triumph ish maybe.....

Hi, It could for anything, the only thing that differentiated application was the operating arm. Having said that most common everyday engines used the same arm. That's not to say the arm can't be changed for a different or oddball engine.

the glass topped type pump like ur was only used on petrol engines..Ford, Vaux, Rootes Group etc etc....
they were made by AC Delco.......which is the spares arm of Vaux / General motors.......in the same light as
SU, who made carbs for almost every thing BMC.....
spares are still easy to get and there r some good copies now.....

Afraid that's not right. Ford & Hillman have mounting studs in different places ( Ford are horizontal, Hillman are angled at 30 degrees).
I think I've also seen different spacings between mounting studs on different pumps over the years.

All I can say is it's not Hillman (assume all Rootes family are same as Hillman so none of them either)
