Automatic oiler feed rate?

Is there a recommended addition rate, or rule of thumb for setting an automatic oiler on an airline system.

I left mine on the default setting when I built the remote air tool manifold, and after around 6hrs operation with grinders and drills rated at about 4cfm, it's consumed about 100ml of oil.

There's also a constant spray of oil mist out of the tools.

This feels like it's set too rich, but probably can't harm.

yes thats way too much....
never needed an oil system but a H/D 1/2" air guns got 2 drips of eng oil before use every day...
Air ratchets of every size got just one....
the drips went down the air line intake...
never had a tool fail because of lack of oil.....
