auto shield

Hello all out there
first posting so be gentle,have been welding for many years now both with stick and tig and some small bits of mig and thinking of purchasing a auto darkening shield,is ther a shield out there that can cater for all,dont want to buy any old rubbish so dont mind spending a few pound.
have looked at the esab eyetech 2 9-13 shade but feel window size might be on the small size does anyone have experience of these shields.
all advice greately welcome (have used the parwelds and dont like as they are not solid and flicker a lot even on tig)

delta66 if you have done a fair bit of TIG then you will know what im on about here, when your rooting they wont stay dark when your looking through the pipe because not enough light gets on the sensors... what your reason for wanting an auto screen? i bought a speedglass a couple o years back had it a few weeks and went back to my standard fixed shade jobbie with a flip up screen!

the reason why i am looking for a auto shield is simple enough,i work on my own a lot of the time and thought it would be handy when trying to tack things i understand where your coming from on the pipe fitting but i also do a lot of general fabbing on stainless and mild steel and i also found the esab a lot ligther on the head and it doesnt sweat on the inside when welding for a while.

in that case then the kempi beta 90x (i think thats what its called) has got to be the best one out there! iv had the esab the speedglas (which was **** by the way) and the kempi and the kempi wins hands down. really well made aswel!
