there's a couple of shape turret punches, Its a shame to see sales like that, another engineering company gone by the look of it, most of the kit will go for a song, there's so much of it about,

May just be me but I feel slightly mucky thinking about buying gear from what looks like a repo auction.

If it is a business repo somebody worked bloody hard for all that gear, am I soft fecker or what?

It looks like a sale of assets by an insolvency company or liquidator, the last company that I worked for had a similar list built up over 40 years trading, the whole lot raised less than £20k I was the works manager for 12 years and when I went to the auction it was like having your personal stuff sold.

When a mate of mine went into liquidation after BR at the time knocked him for around £100K I got the nod and we sneaked down and wheeled the band saw, chop saw and all the measuring equipment tooling etc (now in my workshop) that could fit into my truck .......No guilt about doing this as we new the auctioneer would sell all the gear for peanuts mostly to people he knew who would buy him the "odd drink". The only people who would see any money from the sale would be IR, and bank... the small company's and the workforce are bottom of the barrel......
