ATA Belt Sander replacement wheels

My ancient old landlord has an ATA RAL16L belt sander that both the wheels at the end have lost all traces of the rubber part the belt travels along and rather than just buy a new belt sander he has asked me to look on the net and see if i can find any that will fit.
He has tried who he thinks is the original manufacturer but got nowhere and suspects the age of the belt sander isnt helping.
I have uploaded a picture of the belt sander but dont have the wheel's with me so no dimensions as yet.

Any help with finding replacements will make the old duffer very happy as its a rare tool he uses but he hates his gear being knackered ant not fixable :-)

Contact the maker and see if they do spares. PDF here with an address at the bottom and a very similar looking belt sander as well.

buy 2 small sealed roller bearings the size isnt 2 critical within reason mine has an aluminium wheel on the end with grooves for rubber o rings but will still run without rubber fitted

The ones we have at work slip once the rubber goes as the tensioning mech runs out of travel and the belt's too loose to grip the drive wheel

Could you use a roller bearing, with a bit of adhesive heatshrink over it....

Contacted the manufacturer as listed in that pdf link and then when i got a reply i nearly fell over, the 2 wheels with the arm assembly is over £100 delivered, sod that.
Will be looking at modding the wheels as suggested to see if we can get the ****** back in service
