After owning many rusty astra's i thought i'd rebuild on fully as a trackday toy.
It's amazing how many rusty you hole's you find

Dont mind at all![]()
On the back of engine just above the water pump outlet there's a blanking plug in the oil gallery i'll take the feed from there and weld a return into the sump, it's a kkk k-14 turbo off a 2.8 iveco daily, I'm not after too many ponies (180-190) i'm more interested in a responcive engine so i'm keep the pipe work short by making a charge cooler over the gearbox and a new inlet manifold with the throttle body on the other side.
Tis very true my old car was totaly stripped as well no sound deadning, can be a bit much on long runsyou wouldn't be able to hear her once your flying round the track.
i think you will be better off putting a front mount on there than one over the gearbox. it will lower the charge temps so much more and will equal more responce/power. unless you want the turbo conversion to remain a secret from the outside of course!!
are you doing any internal work
