Just watched this and well worth a watch for those of us with tools etc

The thieves broke in around 8pm it seems and made off with a serious amount of kit. They were also clever enough to remove tool trackers and leave a Hilti nail gun behind which has inbuilt location tracking.

Really the advice is that any phone app notification device is the best line of defence. And to record the serial numbers of your power tools.

I wouldn't blame the victim either - sharing this video should make us all aware of the issue and to do the most to keep our stuff safe. But in most cases if thieves want something they will have it by any means and sadly they get away with this as they know our police forces won't do much of anything to catch them!
