I'm doing a little bit of research on an item I have acquired.
Only a button stick from WW1.
Found along with a tin and a medal from WW1, which belonged to a family member, initially, we thought it must have been his, but with a bit or research, it appears not, however, both died at the same battle. about 2 weeks apart.
Looking at some records online, im getting a bit confused with regiments, batallions, brigades etc...12th...1st....
Can anyone explain how that system works for me?
