Argon integra X30 bottle

Hi All,

First time poster, been browsing for a while till i have eventually bought a tig machine.

Have just set up an account with air products, rep says i would be better off with integra bottles to save buying a regulator, apparently you just fit a flow restrictor to get the correct flow rates.

Whats the verdict on these/this setup??

It's getting a common way of doing things. Is there any cost difference from x30 bottle and gas etc. it does get rid of a few potential problems but is a bit less flexible

works out at about the same price, bottle is smaller but pressurised to 300 bar so more gas than the standard 210 bars (well thats what i was told anyway)

I would be tempted to try it then. Lots of people run to high a flow rate. You could always get a high ish restrictor then use a flow meter afterwards to give you adjustment
