Ask for the VOLKZONE deal its. £40 a year rent and £28 a refill

Your first initial payment is £69 which includes the year rent and a bottle full of gas

filled to 230bar as well so you get around 8 hours use

I actually bought my bottle from Barnet welding supplies. I own it outright but can return for a deposit if i start using loads of them.http://barnet-welding.com/

I payed £170inc VAT including a regulator, there prices might have gone up not sure though

yeah ima ring BOC when i finish work! ive allready got argon/co2 mix for my MIG but its not a BOC cylinder which i want for my TIG plus ill probably get hold of a volkzone argosheild light when i can ahha

I'm surprised they still ask for that, with everything going "on line" most utilities are paperless these days.

Assuming you have the space, it's more cost effective to go 'w' size, not much different on rental, but cheaper per m cubed of gas. Not very portable either that may or may not be an issue.

I changed to BOC after I found rent free gets expensive if you start using the machine half regularly.

worst thing about it was that my driving licence clearly states where i live and will be keeping the cylinders GAH! somtimes i feel like just going and getting a smaller cylinder from the local welding shop! not like i was spending £200 or anything guess thats nothing to BOC though

P.S i have a classic mini! not a chance of getting a W in there haha! but if the Y gets used to quick ill swap to a W easy enough to do!
