how much are you lads paying for the BIG bottle refills? its pure argon
around 60 quid?

I pay about 75 quid for a W size Pure Argon.
Probably best to go into your local brach to set up an account. I think you need one or two forms of ID and of course your credit card - they will want to take payment by direct debit.
Just don't get tempted by the vast array of overpriced shiny things on display!

It was only rental for the smaller bottles that was increased from 1 April. Last time i was i getting gas they were completely out of size x and y pureshields and only had a handful of other gases in those sizes- wasn't like it was because they were awaiting a delivery either, there were next to no empties waiting for collection!

Size W pureshield refill was £66.63 + VAT etc

well at work i have got a quote today. the big w size 230 bar was 40.47 per fill and the smaller 300 bar with reg fitted etc was 37.44. plus i got a quote for my oxygen too. 10.74 per fill.
so my bottle will soon be filled.
dunno if it includes the 18 quid charge for drop off/ pick up

i had to go down to a local shop the other day for some mig wire. asked for a 5kg reel of 0.8mm , they gave me a 1.0mm 15kg reel. bloomin idiots. 11.34 ea. so i spent an hour putting it on 2 5 kg reels and brought it home lol
lots of exciting stuff in the shop. just wish i had the money lol

What's the rental on the 300 bar bottle and is that a BOC one?

no idea (no pun intended) about the rental costs as i didnt ask them. its boc and we get it from air products. but other than that i dont know.
