Are pillow bearings ment to be twisted

Does this look right to you one is slightly twisted more than other but surely when bar in center in will not sit straight. I thought they was ment to be dead straight. In pic you can see it is sloping upwards thank you

Its a self aligning bearing, the insert swivels,

If it wont sit straight the insert might have m9ved in the casing and the little detent on the insert is not in its hole

Are they not usually used in pairs so they hold bar straight ?

Maybe, but as others have said the bearing cartridge within the housing is free to move, to a point. It's how you get the bearings in and out when they need replacing.

Just change the whole unit.
