are nu tool any good at manufacturing welders

iv seen a nu tool 155 mig welder does any one think that it would do a good body repair job for amiture welder

I think they get mixed reviews, whats the lowest setting, needs to be 30 amp really for car work.

A clarke MIG takes some beating in the hobby range, good for spares back up too.

I very much doubt if nu tool make them..........they will be rebadged...........i dont know but at nu tool prices they will probably be chinese

NU tool chop saws, bought one, 8mins later bearings stuffed. Warranty replacement burnt out motor in 10mins. Next replacement didn't even switch on! Eventually got money back. You wanna risk it???

Nu Tool

I appreciate it wasnt a welder, but the 18 volt hammer drill I got from Makro was a total disaster, batteries were very lame, and in less than 2 weeks the gearbox literally fell to pieces, cogs, ball bearings and bits of metal, to their credit Makro gave me my money back, but lesson learnt, Perhaps you get what you pay for,

There are possibly some positives for Nu Tool-- but not off me.

you know the tools wont be cluttering up your space for very long
they wont use much electricity
they wont be too powerful for you
