arch roller

hi, anyone on here made a arch roller?? seen a few pics of different designs, and got an idea on how i could make one using a car jack, just though if anyone else has built one in a different way?? cheers

i have, i wouldnt not bother with the car jack type just didnt look as well made for the amount of work to make. ill try and take some picture but its like this -

fairly simple idea, its pretty easy to estimate dimensions and its all adjustable so does not matter too much. i have used it on a couple of different cars and works really well

i made one from a volkswagen jack before...the widowmaker type
its perfect for front arches but the rear arch on the quarter panel is too strong for it with it being double skin...the hammer and dollies had to come out!

okay cheers, not shure if pannel strength will be a issue with me because its a peugeot :P

just seen how the japs do it haha scaffold bar between the arch and the tyre(tight fit) and drive the car back and forward :P

I woudnt bother..I have one ..it does nothing that a hammer an dolly wont do quicker..The arch lip paint has to be MINT and kept warm(2 man job) before it splits an its only useful if you wanna bow out the wings for a mild flare..
