any body on here know there way round one ?
Basically the welder part of it started playing up a few years ago, when you struck the rod it was like welding at 2 amps and turning the pot didnt change it but after a few minutes it cleared it self.
As of last week it back to the same problem, just a light fizzle on welding rod.
Thinking it was the pot we changed it but still no joy. Welder rev's up, just cant get force to the welding rods.
Power side still works ok, ie the generator part 110 volts.
Checked all the fuses and connections, all good.
what else can i check. how do do test the bridge rectifiers
can the acr be checked
