Any lads on hear using one .
I have an X demo from xtreme to have a bit play with and do dome video .
First impressions are very good .
The trace feature is a game changer for those with limited drawing skills .
Also have the new R Tech P50D cutter to go with it .

Yes I’ve had for some time.
Not used lately as my workshop is still in a state and moving very soon hopefully.

As John has said the trace is a unique feature for a machine a this price and great for all sorts of applications. For me as a car guy it’s great, saves so much time messing with a grinder.

All the issues I see that people have with them not being able to create files and load them etc are human error not the machine itself.
Creating CAD and then dxf files is a big learning curve if you’ve never done it.

I just ordered one from Xtreme with the P51D and a 3x3 cutting table, got it on a black Friday deal, spoke to Rob on the phone and he was very helpful. waiting for delivery as they were on pre order at the time but Rob tells me should be sorted in a week or so, that was last week so I hope I will get it before Crimble.
I joined the Arcdroid Facebook group and read some posts regarding issues with it but as per previous posts it is mainly user error or an inferior plasma cutter.

the trace function looks like it will be very handy ,,, as fast as drawing round a bit of card with chalk ,,,, and then you can save it and have more , instead of looking round the floor in an hour for that bit you had that fit just nice and you cant seem to find anymore

I am sure it would be very useful but my problem is I don't use my P50 as it is. I did want to build a cnc but was put off by the way that a CNC specific machine and Digital machine was released.
So justifying the 1k for a new plasma before even getting the droid, even though it's one reason I haven't used it much ,as hand held is very very limited. Is very hard to justify.
