Hi to all..
I would like to build or buy equipment for vapour or Aqua blasting for use on engine cases etc, so on alloys and Ali mainly.. I've read online and watched the tubeyou for more information etc. I have a good supply of bi carb soda and some fine glass beads. To make the process friendly for the metals I would like to feed the chosen medium with water, either by adding it at the nozzle or pre mixing with the medium before pumping the slurry to the gun.. Here on its all a bit dark, I'm struggling to find a gun where you can have air supply and water/slurry supply.. Also what kind of a medium water ratio to use.. And what type of pump should I get? To pump slurry up? All I can find is agricultural pumps.. I like making my own systems so wouldn't be an issue as such.. I've a 2.5 hp comp along with sand blasting gear.. The problem with the sand as a medium is it can block tiny oil ways if your not really careful hence most people use Aqua or vapour.. I've a couple of 1 and 1.2 mm gravity spray guns and wondered if I could convert those to use as a gun? Open to ideas, especially successfull ones..
