Like the look of these bikes,

So looking for any comments on problems, servicing, ride, vibration etc and (very unlike me) MPG: A 1700 mile trip to Shetland, costing me 300 quid in petrol. Im not happy.
So thoughts please

Can't comment on the bike but also have a look at the triumph tiger sport or the spreed triple. They have same engine as my sprint and wood cost about half that in petrol.
Just done 500 miles on mine round Scotland so I'll add up the receipts and let you know.

Should have looked at your name. There's seem to be a lot of work there in the oil industry. Any idea what they are paying for welders?

I go to a bike rally called the Simmer Dim, held over four days, we spend a 4/5 days taking an indirect route to Aberdeen for the ferry when the drinking starts in earnest, all the ale (5) is supplied by The Valhalla Brewery [the highest Brewery in the UK] and all are very good drinking. add to that some beautiful scenery, some of the best roads in the UK, and the friendliest people you are likely to meet. (the girls aren't bad either)

Mate of mine lived up there and loved it, the scenery is beautiful ( when the fog clears! ) Coded welders are on a good rate keep an eye on the Aberdeen press and journal jobs pages if your interested or EDP24 jobs for Gt Yarmouth.

I bet they are. there's 3 floating hotels moored in Lewick, there's that many workers up there at the mo.

I'd love to move up there, but I don't think the dark winter days, would agree with me.
