Hello
I am replacing the front wings of my BMW M3 with new OEM wings as my existing ones have rusted. Its a forever car for me so I want to rust proof the new wings as much as possible. A friend has had Raptor applied to his rear arches a few years ago and its held up extremely well.
I've seen that Raptor offer their protective coating in a 2K Aerosol which I was thinking about DIYing it. Is the aerosol good as applying it with a proper gun or should I just get the bodyshop to apply it for me?
The wings come with a coating from factory which I think is primer. I was going to scruff them up with 220 and apply a 2K epoxy primer (Raptors own or SprayMax) and then the Raptor Protective Coating. Once its all cured and the outside is all painted, I'd then apply Bilt Hamber Dynax UC over the Raptor. Thoughts on this process or if I am better of getting it applied by a gun?
TIA!
