Applying dinitrol 3125 to box sections etc gun advice

We have a schutZ gun etc, what applicator nozzle/attachment could be used?

trial and error with air pressures start low and work your way up on a test piece in a open can . save waste .

Not sure what "bit|" you have with your schutz gun but my late dad many moons ago bought a wax oil "kit" that came with a pump that screwed into the 5lt can of wax oil (but like a soap dispenser pump but bigger!) it had several attachments one of which was a length of aprox 4mm tube which had something resembling a large headed nail inserted into the end (see pic) as the "nail" had a flattened section the wax oil could get past the shank and then would hit/escape round the nail head creating a 360 deg spray pattern which is what you would need in box section. So a possible low cost solution if you can attach a length of pipe to the gun (probable need to keep the pressure low)
ps probable a roofing felt nail might do

One of my chassis has the of these nails wedged inside it. They get stuck in the crevasses and don't come out.

Pressurised gun is the way to go - not initially cheap, but hopefully the prevention of corrosion in a rather more expensive chassis/body is worth it. With the long extension you can do most of a sill with it easily. The metal extension allows easy application of external coating waxes too.

The nail in the tube idea only has a 1/4" head if that - and I could never get a decent fan of spray from it. The application tubes from shultz guns sort of worked sometimes - for the foot long length of pipe. I would imagine at the moment they might work quite well, as the ambient heat will keep the stuff flowing well.
