Anyone using Revolut?

Revolut has questionable security - there seem to be a few news reports of people being scammed using it. But it’s basic account has £1000 fee free exchange to euro every month and you can set up a euro IBAN number for fee free transfer to European banks.

The disposable credit cards and share trading are handy too.

i have a wallet protector card inserted into the card slot in the wallet so stops handheld devices from scanning the wallet in your back pocket

It's not. Early cards used basic RFID loops but that stopped more than 20 years ago, perhaps more - today's NFC chips (not RFID) are ultra low range and have complex encryption built in.

RFID "blockers" add nothing to the already strong security.

A couple of my biking mates use Revolut cards when we ride in Europe.
I looked into it but didn't like some aspects of it so went with CurrenSea instead - essentially it acts as a front end for your normal UK£ account and just adds a small, fixed fee to every foreign currency transaction. It just sits there most of the time doing nothing and costing nothing. Links to a phone app (of course) where you can set daily spend limits etc. - I think there was a £500 a month useage limit on the free version but I didn't have any issues over two weeks away this year.
