I was watching some videos on you tube and came across 2 videos from jodi of him building a purge box.
Looks like it could be handy. I don't think I've ever seen him using one in any of his videos though.
Has anyone here used one? How did it work for you?
It's got me thinking now. If argon is heavier than air then really if you stick an argon pipe in a box, the box will fill to the brim with argon and any work piece is completely shielded. I know I'm probably over simplifying this but I'd like to hear anyones opinion on developing this idea into something worth building and using.
I do a lot of fairly small stainless parts that can be really fiddly to purge but would fit in a relatively small box.
What's people's thoughts on this?
