Anyone made wheel arches with a shrinker?

Just wondered if anyone on the forum has made wheel arches with a shrinker stretcher? I mean the small ones you can get on ebay for £100 - £150.

How easy is it? I am assuming you can do any angle. I have had a look at a couple of You Tube videos, though couldn't find a wheel arch one.

Very pleased with my Shrinker Stretcher set from Frost, only used it on 1.6mm alloy but it works really well. Even pulled in two thickness of 1.6mm on the main panels of my special after I folded a safe edge and then needed to shrink the edge under.
Not tried it on steel though.

I've made some repair panels with my shrinker/stretcher. This was on an Avenger, I had to repair the inner arch lip before I could fit the outer arch panel. The shrinker made this job easier as you can shrink both flanges to aceive the double curvature.
I got mine from stakesys.

Think I paid about £180 for the set, a separate stretcher and a separate shrinker, about 9 months ago.

Thanks for the info guys. Those pics are helpful, Hillman. I am in the same position, in that the inner wheel arch needs repairing first. The indie garage I bought the car at will weld a wing on and respray it fairly cheaply, but now that I can see how much of the inner wing needs repair, I am thinking it could turn into quite an expensive job if they do it all.

The stretcher/shrinker is OOS on the Frost website but still on their ebay uk shop, in case anyone else is looking too,

Ordering my gas this week. Really need to press on with my car as I have procrastinated with it for 6 months now. Everything takes so much longer than I expected. Took me an hour to remove 4 screws the other day.
