Anyone know what these could be from?

Got these in a box of assorted stuff and they kind of look like they may have been from a specific machine although knowing where they came from they could well be home made.
Overall length is 130 odd mm, the thread is about 4mm OD and it is left hand and likely about 0.5mm pitch.

Possibly, they are nicely made but most likely are home made, just posted on the off chance they are factory made and someone recognised from what.

A pub I used to go to (donkey's years ago) had one mocked up out of an old, rusty hacksaw frame and hung up in the rafters with various other old tat.

The sport was to eavesdrop on visitors discussing what it was for. When they finally cracked, a hand drawn picture was produced from under the bar showing it's intended purpose (it was a hunter with a small dog IIRC). It was amusing how many 'engineers' were confident that they knew what it was (e.g. valve spring compressor for a misty-eye 500, wood turner's clamp, etc ).

Can't remember which pub it was now - West Wales somewhere, I think, but could be Usk.
