There's only one Stihl I'd really like to own a 090, plus any of the old school big gear drives.

think it has a 125cc motor iirc... Just googled the 090 and its a 137cc motor

That's my gut feeling too, when you watch eBay a lot you see things that get relisted multiple times especially when a seller thinks it's worth more than it is. While looking for a Snap On box I've seen several that have been listed 4-5 times and every time they show as sold only to be listed the following week.
I did once get second chance offer on a Series 3 Landrover and turned it down because of this. I ended up paying a little bit more for it when it was relisted. When I met the guy I think he was pretty straight up, the first winning bidder had bid just over £300 for a Landrover listed as "Been sat in the field for 18 years" turned up and decided it wasn't a good as he had expected

Fully dressed up the 090 is a heavy old beast, 880 is a lot lighter and as near as damn it the same power. Swing an 880 around all day when chogging down and you will sleep well

It's the sound of a 090 that does it for me, that ear piercing tone when on full song, nearly brought an Echo CS-1201 a few weeks back just couldn't justify the out lay....
