Anyone in Staffordshire or South Derbyshire area with a HIAB or recommend someone?

Hello,

I need a car body shell moving a couple of miles.

Does anying on the forum have a HIAB that can help or can recommend someone? Any idea of a likely cost?

some one had a lathe moved recently and was pleased with hiab owner/driver. look up @Paulbarrett

If the shell is bare, I've moved them on a car trailer before, 4-6 blokes.
If you can hire or borrow one.

I forgot about the new trailer laws, I hired a trailer now I tow a trailer up to the kerb weight of the towing vehicle and up to 3500kg GTW which is nice. Got no friends so had to build a wheeled trolley monstosity with 600kg castors to take the load of the straps, worked out ok, took about 5 hours to move it 2 miles, about an hour of that getting it high enough off the floor with prybars and stacks of wood.
