Anyone help me with TIG welding?

Hi guys, looking to learn some tig welding in order to build a few manifolds for my cars, I'm good with mig but I haven't decided on whether to go stainless or mild steel. Is there anyone who can help me

have you looked at the tig tutorial on here? (click on TIG on the green bar right at the top of the page) I found it very good and still refer back to it sometimes.
I spend quite (too much) a lot of time on here reading through posts and replies to queries-I learn a fair bit by doing that or re-learn things I had forgotten.
This your free correspondence college on all things welding related.
Have a read on here, then have a go-hit a problem- post a question-get answer-back to the bench and so on.

There are a couple of threads on the forum somewhere that people have put up on how they went about making manifolds. Have a gander at those if you can find them, Im sure theyre in the "Stainless" part of the "Projects" section. If your going to use mild steel just substitute one material for another. Shows how they went about laying out the pipes and cutting one into the other creating the branches, and assembling the elbows creating equal length pipes.
Personally Id go with stainless and polish them up, but thats just me. Im like a magpie. I like things that are shiny. lol
