Anyone have a Creality 3D K2 plus?

My Flashforge Adventurer 5m has a small build area of 220mm cube something like that. For car parts I really need a larger build area of at least 350 x 350 x 350mm

I see this printer has that build area:



Anyone using one of these and can give feedback?

Or is there an equivalent Bamboo printer of the same or greater build area?

I dont mind spending £1k or a bit over. But it will be December when Im purchasing it not right now just planning ahead for what printer I should be looking for.

Large build area + multi colour / material capability would be nice.

Whay do you think of it? Reliable and quality prints? Do you use mutli colours?

It's pretty good. Prints are reliable and high quality, even at high speed. Only issue I had during the very hottest part of the summer was PETg clogging with high temperatures in the room. Easily solved by leaving the glass lid off, once I sussed it. No issue in normal temperatures.

The colour dispenser works surprisingly well and is reliable with Creality AMS spools as supplied. However when you come to use your old stock, you will find that the spool sizes vary and that can cause jamming issues on rewind. Fairly easy to solve though without buying their own brand of filament and that is to print some "tyres" which snap onto undersize spools.

The big thing for me is the decent size bed, although I did have to add a larger table top to accommodate it.

Colour use works well but it is worth planning where the colour changes to minimise waste. Ideally colours in sequential layers as that stops it going back for repeated changes.
